Section 2: The 100-word context paragraph
This is the second-most important paragraph for SEO. Three rules:
- Include 2–3 secondary keywords naturally. Not stuffed — naturally.
- Specify who the video is for and who it isn't.
- Reference what the viewer will be able to do or know after watching.
Keep it tight. 80–120 words.
Section 3: Subscribe + main CTA
One subscribe link. One main CTA. Don't list five different things you want them to do — pick one.
Section 4: Video chapters with timestamps
Chapters are the single highest-ROI thing you can add to a description. They:
- Become clickable in the YouTube player.
